Leave By does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking.
Your journeys and settings
Your saved journeys and settings are stored only on your iPhone and Apple Watch.
Location
If you allow location access, your location is used on your device, together with Apple Maps, to estimate how long it takes you to reach your stop. It is never sent to us. Apple’s handling of Maps requests is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.
Timetable and live data
The app downloads Auckland Transport’s public timetable directly from Auckland Transport. If you add your own Auckland Transport developer key, live-data requests go directly from your phone to Auckland Transport with that key.
Purchases
The free trial and the Leave By Pro unlock are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details or Apple Account.
